Is it able-bodied to own low blood pressure?

Mine is 80 over 120 (or close enough), which i'm told is low. I am a petite adult and weigh 100 pounds, and was wondering if low blood pressure have any related health risks?
Answers:
Great. Congrats.
I have low blood pressure, I sometimes suffer from dizzy spells and faintness. Do you sufer from these? They might be connected.
don't you mean 120/80, if it is i wouldn't verbs, mine is a little on the low side, it's 100/70 to 110/70, i am small as well, i return with dizzy when i get up to quickly, my gp have told me it is nothing to worry in the order of as it is normal for me
in actuality its supposed to be 120/80..... even if its the way ur saying it, its not too unpromising since u are kinda small (like me, i have the same prob) docs told me its cuz im small, i dunno though, if ir lower number is 120, thats in fact kinda high, its supposed to be aound 80.
its kinda danger...once you do alot of work, you might faint, and you will discern that you cannot understand or concentrate in words
Think it must be 120 over 80 or you have something totally grotesque going on! That is normal, don't know why you think it is low, near are health implications of hypotension (low b.p.) but you are fine so don't verbs.
Are you sure its not 120 over 80?
120/80 is a perfect blood pressure.

Low would be 98/60 (as an example)

If yours is chronically low as the example above, that would indicate an bad health of some kind, but not always.
80/120 is perfect.
normal is 120 over 80 maybe thats what you scrounging.. b/c 80/120 would make the lower number to high

ask a doctor if your unsure.. Source(s): i see a doctor for lofty b/p and even on meds it is 111/70 which is kinda low
"Low" blood pressure is a sweeping statement. In young adults, your blood pressure can NOT be too low, as long as your heart and arteries are strong enough to deliver blood to your brain at adjectives times, i.e., so you don't pass out or get dizzy when you stand up contained by a chair. Your cardiovascular system needs pressure to deliver blood 1)"up" to your brain and 2)"back", returning from your foot. As long as you're not regularly dizzy, and your blood isn't pooling in your feet, you are fine.

In elder people low blood preasure means congestive heart breakdown. The heart is no longer strong enough to pump blood. In younger people, it ability that your arteries are still youthful and "open" (not clogged with cholesterol placking).

Stay young-looking and run ...

.
well my mums low blood pressure and fine you can go insubstantial headed at times
if you are petite and are in pretty right physical condition, low blood pressure is perfectly normal. but that blood pressure you give is impossible. the bottom number (diastolic) can never be higher than the (systolic) because the diastolic is your heart at rest.
i also have low blood pressure which is zilch to worry about unless it plummets fast but most of the time it don't but low blood pressure can also be as bad as high blood pressure put surrounded by blood pressure in a normal force out engine it should come up with something.
mine has always be low but i feel OK
That hardly measures as low. At less than a couple of % as you are there are none.
yes it does, i hold the same thing..... you cant be surrounded by heat a lot ro you are more at risk of ratification out. you should start taking salt pills to get it spinal column up to normal, or at least closer to everyday. just ask for salt pills for low blood pressure at a cvs, walgreens, or walmart. they should know what youre discussion about. i get mine from cvs.
Thank you for bringing this up. I enjoy had dizzy spells for years, and very low blood pressure. I am glad I am not the single one.
Do you mean 120/80? Under 110 is considered hypotensive (low blood pressure). But, mine is roughly slightly lower than that. Under 100 is "low". But, your second number should not be as high as 120...that is greatly. The old "average" was 120/80, which is presently being considered as pre-hypertensive. Ideal is systolic 110-119 over less than 80. And your systolic number determines if you are hypotensive. Go to your doc and they will opt based on what your average is. Everyone is different...and there is such a point as healthy people have low blood pressure...low bld pressure=decreased blood flow to the brain. Source(s): nursing student
I hold low BP too. Its not a problem - health problems associated are invariably linked to high-ranking BP. There's no treatment anyway!!
