"Possible protection" catalogue for HDL-Cholesterol?
My HDL-Cholesterol is more than 50, the laboratury result described it in " possible protection " range, what does it plan? is it good or bad ?
"apt cholesterol", or HDL-C. A high level of HDL-C seem to protect against cardiovascular diseases, and low HDL cholesterol levels (less than 40 mg/dL) increase the risk for heart disease.
