What is the best foods to munch through to draw from glorious blood pressure down?

my mum who is 45 has just be told she has high blood pressure. She is adjectives out salt and losing weight and doing really powerfully. I just wanted to know if anyone know any low salt and fat snacks except fruit and veg for the occasional treat!
Answers:
A small amount of nuts (20 to 30 macadamia nuts have been found to be beneficial) - they are elevated in fat, the better overweight I'll add, but keep them to a minimum.

Some rice crackers, conceivably with some low fat cheese. Again small amount.

Yoghurt.

Flat bread or vegie sticks next to a low fat "dip" type thing close to salsa or hommus.
I've had great success beside the 9th law diet. I've lost 51 pounds so far, dropped my blood pressure to a normal plane, and still going strong. It's free and the professor who designed it actually answers my email questions.
